I am 37 and I forgot I had this..... so that's a thing.

Ahahahahahahahahahaha!

Yup, that's about right.

What have I been up to? What have you been up to? You don't write, call, drop around to steal the sugar.... in short, what gives?

Me.... I've been working and studying, and studying and working. I try and get some travel in there but mainly I'm getting to know new people in strange ways. :)

Short and brief, but hey, let's see where this goes this time, eh?

Peace up, out and beoynd!

Its been a long time coming.

Well, well, well.

I know its been an age since I last posted anything up on my blog and there is probably a good reason for it but I guess the truth is I just got lazy and it slipped away from me.

Hmm, I can't actually remember what my last post was about or even when I posted it so I guess I'm gonna have to check it out and see if I can follow on from where I left off. Ah yes, just had a quick read of it. I did go and see Hells Bells and they were fantastic. They played all the classics and when I discuss AC/DC, I guess all their songs are classics.

Now to recap whats been happening since then....

Well, its been a year and a half.

I've left the apartment I was living in and moved back in with my folks. Who can argue against 3 square meals a day and all the laundrey they can get done. I still pay rent for the privilege, although it is the same as the apartment.

I got a new job doing the exact same thing as before, only closer to home. The people are okay but the job sucks monkey nuts. Obviously I won't name the company as I am still employed with them and thats a whole bunch of lawsuits I don't want.

My 3 eldest brothers are married now, which leaves me and my next eldest brother. I know its not a competition, but he has the advantage at the moment. 3 weddings and three amazing girls, each amazing in their own ways(NOT LIKE THAT!!!!!).

I recently recieved news that I'm to be an uncle in about 7-8 months. Congrats go out to my brother and I wish him and her and the child the best of luck with the future.

I've decided to grow my hair long, or at least shoulder length. It came about after a drunken conversation with a mate and it was almost a bet, but the idea stuck in my head. My mate shaved his head. He looked pretty wierd. :)

Following the AC/DC tradition, I went and saw Hayseed Dixie(Say it fast enough and you'll get it) and they rock!!!!! They do a bluegrass cover of not just AC/DC, but also Aerosmith, Motorhead and even The Darkness. Those guys really know how to put on a show. Definitely a must-see in my book.

Right now, I guess I'm aiming to improve my chances of getting a better job, so I'm looking at colleges for hardware maintenance courses. I know I flunked out of several colleges previously while doing software development, but I'm determined to get this one now.

I'm getting a bit fed up with all this typing so I'll finish up with my movie reviews....

Transformers : 2 and a half hours of robots beating the crap out of each other. Fantastic.

Die Hard 4.0 : Cheesy action all the way. 4 out of 5 stars.

The Simpsons : Should appeal to anyone although some jokes might go way over kids heads.

Peace up out and beyond,
Don't know how often I'll update this, but hopefully I'll be able to do it at least monthly.

A late night post from out of the dark recesses of the mind.

Well now.

Its been a while since I've aired my thoughts on the international forum of the damned.

I've kept my silence for long enough now and its time to clear the mud from the waters.... or at least, move it around some.

Arrested development -> Season 3 is fanatastic and more than a little provocative.

The Wesley has left.

Random thought fly too often through my mind, may as well write a few of them down.

Well, I've gotten myself put onto the late shift in my job, I know is not the best shift in the world(1.30pm - 10pm) but at least it is steady... no more shift work for me thank you very much.

Hells Bells are coming to Ireland this Saturday and I don't intend to miss them. I saw them once in Scotland and I thought they were brilliant.

Gonna keep this one short as I'm losing my train of thoughts. Also, I'm using my mate's system and I cannot get used to his keyboard. You know how it is, you use a computer and you get familiar with it, you understand its quirks, etc. This keyboard sucks!

I am 26 and I am, bored....

of writing the same old tired punch line at the start of my blogs.

From now on... be prepared! You have been warned!!!!

Anyhow.... Here is the latest update.

Happy Crimbo and New year to everyone... including iraqi's1

Happy birthday to my brother! 36 this year! Congrats!

A new round in I.C(Imperial Conflict for the n00bs out there)

On to the odd stuff.... There are 3 of us now. There are me, my flat mate and my crazed mate. We are Marty, Wesley and Tobias. I am Marty because of my jacket, my flat mate is Wesley because of his hairstyle and my crazed mate is Tobias because I gave him a jacket that fits beautifully with Arrested Development.

This is only a short rant because its 2 in the morning and I have work the next day.

"Feck off you knob-dangling, smelting, horn-monger!"

Thanks to Podge and Rodge. :)

Peace out!

I am 25, but not for long

Hi there one and all and welcome back to another of those annoying "I can't believe I spent 5 minutes reading that!".

I guess I should really make the most of the moment and thank my family for their support through the 25 years I've graced this planet with. Thank you very much!

I will be getting slightly older tomorrow and as such, I have taken the oppertunity to take a few days off work to A) enjoy my birthday, and B) Recover from the enjoyment.

All are welcome to the celebrations and I hope to see many faces that I won't recognise.

I'll keep it simple,

Have a good one on me,
:)

P.S. Keep an eye out for Stabbhy McStab-Stab

I am 25 and I am still here.

Hi there one and all,

yet another update from the man in the field, a farmer!

Enough with the crappy jokes.

Congratulations to my mother, who just graduated from college. I really enjoyed the party at the weekend and I sure hope that she enjoys her present from all the boys. We got our parents our hot air balloon ride and a stay in a hotel to prepare for the flight.

On to other news, I have moved into new lodgings. I am living in the city centre now and looking forward to my stay here. I spent all of yesterday getting my belongings moved in here and boy am I glad. Phew! I hate stairs with a passion, any building over 2 floors tall should have a lift fitted to facilitate people lugging heavy objects up and down stairs.

I know, I haven't blogged in a long time but let's recap. I've been at this blogging business for quite a while now and I am amazed I am still at it. Wow! I guess I'll still be blogging for my next birthday(next month).

Please Santa, can I have a new G.I. Joe for my birthday? Or how about a thermo-nuclear warhead and detonator. I suppose that may be a bit much, so how about a nice surprise?

Peace, one and all.

I am between 24 and 26 and there is so much more to be told....

Happy happy joy joy to everyone for no apparent reason.

Special people to mention would be :
My boss(unnamed for his/her safety)
My team-mates(same again)
My family(they're great!)

A super special HAPPY BIRTHDAY goes to my mother who had her birthday yesterday. Thats another ring on the tree of life. I hope there will be many more. (p.s. I have a load of washing for you to do, when you get the chance (only kidding!)).

Hmmmm..... My flat mate was at the Manson/Maiden concert last night and now he is in bits. He is a broken man that no amount of time will cure.... until AC/DC play their next gig.

I need to get myself a new suit for the wedding that is fast approaching... There is still so much time, so little to do. Wait a minute, reverse that. Much better.

A big hello to everyone, everywhere for whatever! Keep up the good work.

There is only so much music you can't dance to...

And one of those songs is by Paul Robeson, "So thats why God made darkies!". I was asked to get this song, and it worried me. Then again, I was also asked to get the two Von Trapp Family movies, by the same person.

For those of you who don't know who they are, do you remember "The Sound of Music"? The Von Trapp family were the main characters. They went on to make two more movies.

I don't know, though. I really wanted to get "The Goonies" first.

Ah well. This week I have mostly been listening to..... nothing in particular, maybe a bit of "Wilt".

I sat down this weekend and watched a couple of movies.

I watched Elektra and I was stunned..... I thought it was absolute pants, it sucked the egg right out of the shell.
I watched Kung Fu Hustle and I loved it.... a thoroughly cheesey movie that pays homage to all the old martial arts flicks with a comic side.

And don't ever say.... "Sounds like somebody's got a case of the Monday's!"

Welcome back to the world....

Eh oh Po!!!!

Well, well, well.... They are back and there is nothing anyone can do aboot it! Thats right, the scottish brother is back and he is not alone. My brother is back from Scotland and he is accompanied by his fiancé(don't know if I need the fada on the e) and a load of her mates.

Anyways, its been a while since I updated this so I better explain a few things and recap the previous days...

We had a long weekend and a lot of it was spent looking into the bottles.
Another of my brother's arrived home from abroad on the Thursday and we went out for a few drinks too many that night. He headed off the next day to the west of Ireland to go canoe-dling, where-as I had to go to work.

Friday night was spent out on the town to start off the long weekend. It was a good night spent visiting a lot of old haunts(The Woolshed, Fibber's and Sin É) before retiring home to pass out.

Saturday night was spent in pretty much the same manner, although there was a bit more beer and a lot less sleeping(Tekken tournaments).

Sunday was a day of recovery and wondering how the previous day was possible.... its not, without a price.

On monday, myself and a few mates headed down to Co. Wicklow to a lovely spot called Glendalough. We went for a stroll across the mountains and then headed down to the lovely loughs there and sat beside them and chatted on all things geeky(cheese, cameras, world politics). Then we headed back and settled in knowing it had been a good weekend.

Not too sure where to go with this blog so its going nowhere.

Bye!

There is more than one way to cover a cat in gravy.

Its has only just occured to me recently that I have been blogging for over a year now and the ramblings just keep on spewing forth. A violent image, I'm sure. Anyhows and what-nots aside.

My brother is still afk and loving it, and sure why not. He's in a foreign country with a canoe and everything seems to be looking for him. Well done and nice one, brovver!

Well, the wedding's seem to be flowing in this year. I've got one wedding this September in Northern Ireland that I am really looking forward to. Congrats to Ryan and Katie on that wonderful news. You know who you are! :)

Next weddings will be during next year and the year after.... Ah well, time to get the suit back from the dry cleaners. :)

Not really much of a blog, but what are you going to do about it.
