There is a new land out there across the sea...

There is a new land out there currently being investigated by one of my brothers. I wish him all the best on his adventures through daylight, lack of a proper night time, and the search for the best canoedilling spot in Iceland.

I've tried looking for his current location using Google Earth but I am having many problems tracking him down.

He gives a few clues in his blog, but its worse than trying to do the RTE Gold Bar Hunt that runs every year in Ireland.

I know, I could just call him and get exact co-ordinates for him, but where's the fun in that?

Anyhow, on to other less important things....

LOST
---------
What a show! It just gets better and better with each episode.

Drawn Together
---------------
The best spoof of Big Brother you'll ever see. Its a shame that the first series is over now. :(

Wonderfalls
-----------------
Just started on Sky One. Its already been on terrestrial television, but its worth watching again. Its really messed up. I'd recommend it to everyone, except the truely paranoid.

American Dad
-----------------
Released over in the states(damn you lot for getting all the best shows first). Its done by the makers of Family Guy so you already know what to expect.

Battlefield 2
-----------------
An amazing game. The realism in it is better by far than the original, it only sucks that you need a high-spec machine to even get a glimpse of it.

Ah well, back to the books for me. I has got a Java exam to study for. Its just as well that I loves progging. Call me Uber-Nerd, but be warned that we, the nerd of the world, shall conquer from within. You shall not expect an attack from where you put us, but it is coming.

Went and saw "War of the Worlds" on saturday. I liked it. I was expecting to hate it because it never followed the original at all, but that doesn't matter. It more of a look at the attacks from a Joe Bloggs perspective. An average day, an average meal, another average guy getting fried by an average alien heat ray. The special effects were really cool as well. At times, the suspense was brilliant, really building up to some spectacular scenes and some truely gross deaths. I loved it!!!!!

Big cheesy grin on me!!!!

Next up : Willy Wonka!

What what what? Doing Java exams? Fair play, you should breeze through them.

We'll have to meet up for a scoop or two and catch up etc.
