Fán Noimead, cá bhfuill mó gheansaí?

Thats right, all you irish-speakers. the band that brought us soo many wonderful hits are coming back to rock our worlds in a nostalgia-inducing display of bad dress sense.

Sultans Of Ping F.C. live again, and they will be playing various gigs around Ireland in the run-up to Christmas. Whoopie! Jubliation abounds. Classic songs like "The TurnipFish", "Where's me jumper?!" "Japanese Girls" and many many more are all about to be dragged out of the closets that we denied we had.

Kerbdog have reformed and I am delighted. A truely original and inspiring band that never should have split, reforemed, and split again. I was at Oxegen over the weekend, and despite all the warnings, got burnt to a crisp due to unexpectedly good weather. What are the chances of that?
I only found out on the Sunday that Kerbdog were playing on the Saturday. I haven't stopped kicking myself since I missed them.

On the up side, I did get to see Greenday, The Frames, Q.O.T.S.A., Snoop Dogg, Prodigy, Ian Brown, The Streets, Audioslave, Feeder and The Beautiful South. I had to leave early on the Sunday so that I could come back and get a good night's sleep and come in to work on the Monday. BuMMeR!

Phily, thats great news and I'd be delighted if you could sort that out for me. I can't believe I'd had this blog going so long. Its amazing what a free mind can accomplish.... w00t!

I also got great news that one of my ex-work mates got engaged and is due to be married this September in Belfast. Yet another excuse to get sociably drunk and sing wee little ditties in the early hours of the morning.

I wish him and her the best of luck in all their future endeavours and I know that they'll make each other happy.

Apologies to all if my irish is out of whack, its been a while since I've written in my home tongue.
